Fees

We aim to provide a quality yet affordable legal service.  The most important factor in the level of fees built up in a legal case is how it is approached by the parties and solicitors concerned.

We always endeavour to settle cases amicably, thereby keeping legal expenses to a minimum. Most of our work is carried out with an agreed  competitive hourly rate. 

At the outset of the case, we will give you a cost estimate and we will continue to keep you regularly updated as to the level of legal fees. You can place a cap upon the level of fees you wish to incur from the outset if you wish.

We can accept payments by debit or credit card or by instalments, by prior agreement.

We also can advise you of the possibility of claiming back your legal costs from the other party.

Please Note, we only offer legal aid in serious child protection cases.

Fixed Fees

We can offer fixed fees in the following areas:-

Divorce:-
Straightforward uncontested divorce - £750 plus VAT and Court fees.

Children and Contact Orders:-
Writing to your former partner regarding children disputes and issuing an Application for a Contact Order at Court- £500 plus VAT and Court fees.

Handholding Service:-
With forthcoming restrictions on legal aid and difficult economic times, we offer an alternative to the full instruction of a solicitor. We  offer a "handholding "service, whereby if you are representing yourself, as you cannot afford to fully instruct a solicitor, but need guidance through the process, we can provide you with telephone advice at every stage of the process, for a fixed fee. This does not include face-to-face interviews, correspondence, drafting legal documents or attending Court. However we will advise you and give you the support to carry out these functions yourself.  We charge our standard rate of £18.50 plus vat for routine telephone calls up to 6 minutes.
