InjunctionsWe are experienced in applying for emergency injunctions to protect a spouse from a violent partner and in some cases apply for an occupational order forcing them to move out of the property. We can grant public funding under our devolved powers for this purpose where necessary. If the case is urgent we can apply for an interim "without notice" order whereby the court grants a temporary injunction on the basis of one parties account of events. Thereafter there would usually be a full hearing at which both parties will give evidence and the court decide whether the injunction should continue in the future. We can apply for a power of arrest to be attached to any order if any party breaches the order.
